Sorry for sharing this late. COVID hit our new product release and it’s still pending. In addition, the NPO (Non-Profit Organization) where we trust and manages an orphanage in Cambodia, they decided to put accepting donations from all the sponsors on hold because they sold the orphanage’s property where they bought in the suburb of Phnom Penh 30 years ago and moved to rent, as the result, now they have enough to manage the orphanage for the next 10 years or so. They prefer not to expand the orphanage to the large scale to keep the current level of support for the children there.
Because of the reason stated above, we are currently looking for other places to support for the coming generations. Current potential locations are in Central America and in Asia. We will keep you all updated the status on this as well as our new product release schedule.
And until we find the new place where we can really trust, donations from your product purchase will be paused starting from 1st April, 2024 and the ones in 2022 (320,000 JPY / 2,113 USD), 2023 (380,000 JPY / 2,509 USD) and from 1st January to 31st March in this year will be donated to “unicef” to purchase and send the educational kit “School-in-a-Box” to children in developing countries, conflict-affected countries and/or in countries affected by natural disasters. We will let you all know once we get the final amount of the donations after 31st of March and fix the number of the educational kit to purchase and send for the children.
